PE1: Graph-Oriented Programming with PHP
Workflow Management (WfM) is becoming more and more important. To get help for the development and maintainance of software that supports workflows, a new layer on top of the underlying programming language is needed.
Graph-Oriented Programming (GOP) is such a layer. This session presents the eZ Components' workflow engine, its possible applications and the underlying principles and techniques.
PE2: Declarative Development using Annotations
Applications often require a lot of glue code that makes the application harder to understand and maintain. Annotations allow you to add meta-data to classes, methods and properties that can be processed by other applications. In this session you will learn, how annotations ease O/R-Mapping, XML-generation and help you to convert any classes to an AJAX-service.
PE3: Web Services and SOA
Web Services and an understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) are skills becoming more frequently required for developers within their organizations. Using real-world scenarios, we will learn how to create and work with REST and SOAP based services, as well as how they might be leveraged within your own architecture.
PE4: Who am I? - The Age of the Digital Identity
OpenID and InfoCards are currently two of the most discussed identity technologies. During this presentation we will examine what digital identities are and specifically what each of these technologies is. Using the Serendipity weblog system, I will also demonstrate these technologies and discuss some of the issues that must be addressed while integrating these technologies into an application.
PE5: Building Extensions for PHP
This is an introduction in extending php. So what is a php extension and for what do I need it? We will describe the first steps as well as basics like zval. Furthermore we will give short overviews of several subtopics like functions, OO, and tools (ext_skel, pecl_gen).

Mit dem PRADO-Framework können Sie in hohem Maße wiederverwendbare Webapplikationen erstellen, die auch in komplexen Fachanwendungen bestehen.

Das Zend Framework ist ein relativ neuer Stern am Himmel der PHP-Web-Frameworks. Ist es überhaupt ein Framework oder doch eine Komponentenbibliothek? Eigentlich ist das nicht so wichtig, denn letztlich zählt nur, was es Ihnen bietet und wie es sich im harten Projektalltag bewährt. Finden Sie heraus, ob der Name "Zend" hält, was er verspricht.
PE8: Der eZ-Components-Rundgang
Diese Session liefert einen Überblick über die Entwicklungen der vergangenen Monate im eZ-Components-Projekt. Die aktuell verfügbaren Komponenten werden vorgestellt und besondere Features anhand von Beispielen gezeigt. Neben der Möglichkeit, Feedback zu geben, Kritik und Wünsche zu äußern, werden wir einen Ausblick auf die zukünfige Weiterentwicklung der eZ Components geben.
