PHP Starter Day
Am PHP Starter Day wird den Konferenzteilnehmern in intensiven Workshops ein tieferes Verständnis wichtiger PHP-Themen vermittelt. Von Templating über OOP bis hin zu Security werden die Themen vertieft, die notwendig sind, um von der PHP Conference maximal zu profitieren. In kleinen Gruppen wird nachmittags das am Vormittag Gelernte an praktischen Übungen vertieft.
High Performance with MySQL and PHP
This workshop will look at the many aspects involved when optimising a PHP application, the MySQL server, and its environment. Optimisation is certainly not a topic of dry knowledge. Instead it is about gaining the skills needed to analyse the big picture, and recognising the often small but important opportunities. As such, this workshop will provide a valuable experience particularly for more experienced users. You may benefit from bringing your own laptop computer, with MySQL Server and your favourite client installed.
