We start with a welcome and conference introduction by Sebastian Meyen, the conference chair.
Followed by Wolfgang Henseler’s keynote:
With the economic success of Apple, Amazon, Netflix or Tesla, everyone should have understood by then that the new, digitally driven world is no longer about product-centred thinking, but about user-centred ecosystems that are operated by means of artificial intelligence. The new competition is no longer the product, but the better user experience. In this context, situational relevance is the decisive factor. Because in the new economy, proximity to the customer and the speed of data evaluation and use are the factors that drive competition.
User-centric algorithms, machine learning and artificial intelligence play the main roles in this socio-economic transformation. But what do such smart ecosystems look like? How are they designed and architecturally structured? What factors form the basis for an ultimate user and customer experience? And how can their success factors be used for one’s own actions? The keynote is a glimpse behind the scenes of the digital present and an outlook into the economic and social world of our future.
